Why SPOT/SITE

The Web has gained speed, compatibility and freedom. But in the transition from Flash experiences to the modern Web, part of the ambition to make the page an experience was left behind.

From that question

CLIPEA has continued to work on movement, sound, interaction and storytelling without giving up the open structure of a modern website.

The Klimt Curtain was an important step: a surface that looks like an image, then reacts to a gesture and makes the presence of the person moving through it perceptible.

From there came the next step: not adding effects to a page, but bringing navigation and response into the language of the spot.

This is how SPOT/SITE was born: the SITE preserves the freedom of the CMS; the SPOT adds direction, movement, voice and the ability to intervene in the story.

Today, images, voice, translation, automation and generative tools expand what we can build. They are means of production, not the product.

Technology stays behind the scenes
